Where is a big gun when you need one. Been back a few weeks and already the bladdy neighbours are driving me mad.The old man is a nutter who only knows one song…yes the tittle of this post, and is like a broken record. He also has a deaf wife and stupid kids, coz if they weren’t they would have topped him long ago. Can’t say im going to miss this place or them.

Been working one my folks house sinse i got back…the never ending story…as i like to call it. 2 year and 6 months of ‘ extensions’  and still only half way. The garden is a vast improvement from what it was when i started a year or so back.

Lots of hugs and kisses

Tomorrow we leave for France , in our little fiat, and are hoping to make it as far as Portugal and back-in time for Christmas- via Switzerland and maybe Holland . I haven’t touch this site until last night and realized a bunch of you left your remarks, so i published them, to add a little content.
Also put up some links, check them out….
We are heading to the D Day beaches tomorrow…
Hope to catch up with a lot of you in the next couple of years…
Can anyone recommend places worth seeing in Western Europe….

Hoesit boet, excellent to here your travels have started again… am a bit jealous as I sit behind my computer slaving away. If you are going to to Holland forget Amsterdam and Head for Utrecht. It is far more beautiful and chilled…just as many coffee shops… but not as skanky…dutch people actually go there… but apart from that Maria will love the architecture and if Wendy is there she can give you a tour. Also to be checked out in Holland is Gouda…yet it is a town not just cheese…if you love cheese as much as I do, you have to check out their cheese market…wheels of cheese bigger than a car tyre…mmmmmmm yummy.Anyway have a great trip, speak to you soon.

Suerte en Francia! les deseo lo mejor en su estadía por aquí, pues estos frances son poco hospitalarios, manejan una lógica propia y le temen a la tecnología, asi que espero que no tengan problemas para ponerse en contacto con nosotros.France it’s more than U imagine…sometimes we dream a lot, but reality is different! Let me know when are U coming south, to arrange your “logemment”. I think I’m mixing french and english, so I better go.

Just got to get something started…here goes

I’m finally getting round to setting up our travel website,(after months of talking about it)

More than likely it will change as we finally get going and things start to slow down. Right now -this will have to do. We have sold the house and will be moving out this Thursday.

After 5 years of planning we are finally a little closer. Time to dust off those backpacks…in fact forget it…think we will start afresh and buy new ones.

The plan as of today Saturday 10th September (i think) is to move out and into my parents house, to finish off their extension while maria goes and visits family in Madrid. Then , i should think we’d be off around mid October , back towards Spain , and keep heading south as it get colder here.
We will probably come back to UK to catch a flight to South Africa sometime in late November..That as far as i care to think:

What do you think?
