After an excellent ski trip with Marielle and Jeff , we returned to Zurich ,and what for me has been the highlight of our time around Europe. A live jam session in the studio’s of the little known but funky rock band Clockwork. Seeing a good rock band up close and personal was a brilliant and memorable experience , not only for me but for Millie too. The whole thing is an education in itself. Michael and the band were very cool and kind, and in between breaks, encouraged Millie to sing a song. The funniest thing was that she piped up with a reggae/prodigy remix - ” I’m going to put on an iron shirt, and chase the devil out of ert.”, which surprised the band as i guess they where expecting ring a ring a Rosie’s.
Emilia got to bang on the piano ,while the rest of the boys, tried successfully to create a song around Millie’s noise. To be honest after a minute or two it sounded quite good. It was a brilliant evening and the whole night left a very good impression on Emilia and now more than ever , i believe that Emilia’s talents will lie in the arts ,drama and musical. Thanks Mike and the rest of the band, we wish you all the success you can handle!!
